Blogging: Weekend

On Saturday, I went shopping with my mum and then got ourselves ready to go to the baby shower but after we got ourselves ready, I did some Tik Toks before we went to my poppa's house to pick up one of the boys to be in the car with us but in the middle of my brothers in the back. When we got to Broncos Steak house we went straight in there and sat on the table but my cousins and my 2 brothers sat on one table while I sat on the table with my Mum, Aunty, Nana and my Mum's Cousins. The food was nice and I had Mac, Cheese and Ham with salad for dinner.

On Sunday, went to my dad's friends farm, met his grandsons and had a nice lunch.

On Saturday, stayed home and did the housework like dishes, sweeping the floor and I also changed my room around. Me and my brother walked to shops to get some more bread and I used my kiwi bank card to buy them, so I bought 3 breads.

On Sunday, did the housework, I was going to weed the garden but then it started raining.

Blogging: Weekend and 4 weeks of lock down

For the past 4 weeks of lock down, all I have been doing is staying home, doing my chores, school work, playing with my little brother and taking my dog for a walk.

On Saturday, my mum, my brother Andrew and I went to take our dog for a walk while my dad and little brother was at home.

On Friday after school, my family and I went to my Nana's birthday dinner at my Nana's house, we had pizza, KFC and fish and chips for dinner. We went home at 11:00pm and got home before 11:30pm.

On Saturday, we went to my dad's boss's house to pick up the couch.

On Sunday, my dad went to take my Nana and Grandad to the airport to go to Christchurch for the wedding.

On Saturday, I stayed home and did my chores.

On Sunday, I just stayed home and my uncle came over. He brought 2 bags of buns. I did some Tik Tok while my mum and little brother was in the pool.

On Saturday, I went to my Nana's house because I needed a break from my brothers.

On Sunday, we went to see my great Nana but she wasn't feeling well, we stayed there for 1 hour because my Grandad had to give my great Nana breakfast. Then we went shopping to get the things we needed and then I came home.

On Christmas day, me and my family went to my nana's house for Chirstmas lunch before we had lunch, we opened our presents. After that we relaxed and then we went to my nana's house, who is my mum's mum for a Christmas dinner. 

On Boxing day, we went to our nana's house again for another Christmas lunch with our aunty, uncle and cousin, my present from my aunty and uncle was a Tradie Lady body product like body lotion, body mist and shampoo gel. 

On Saturday, my dad went fishing with his friend for the night and we had our nana, aunty and cousin over for the night too. After they came over we went swimming, then after we went swimming we relaxed and then we had dinner my mum made shepherds pie for my nana and aunty then my mum and aunty went to buy Hawaiian pizza for us. Then after that me and my aunty played a game of Skip-bo and she won and then my brother joined in the game and then he won and it was only me and my aunty playing Skip-bo.

On Saturday, I stayed home and rest because I wasn't feeling well to do my chores. Yesterday, just stayed home.

Blogging: Market Day and Weekend

On Friday, the Whare Manaki students had their first business market day. At period 2, the class went to cooking and we made our products so R.I.S.E up team made 12 Chicken Wraps and 38 cups of Mango Otai, All Stars  made Fruit Kebabs and KKMTS made Chocolate chip and Red velvet muffins.

On Saturday, we stayed home and did chores and on Sunday we just stayed home and did chores as well.

Tonight my family and I are going out for dinner to Happy Days in Manukau for my poppa's 65th birthday.

On Saturday, Andrew and our mum went to the doctors to get Andrew his medicine, while our dad, baby brother and I stayed home and after Andrew and our mum came back home. On Sunday, we started to do our chores, we stayed home and our nana and grandad came over for a visit.

Holidays and first week of school.

On Christmas Day my family and I went to my nana's house to have a BBQ. Before we had the BBQ for lunch, we opened our Christmas presents. I had a diary, pens, jewellery factory kit, money and a Warehouse gift card.

On Boxing day, my family and I went to the Pakuranga Warehouse to spend our Warehouse gift cards.

My mum, 2 brothers and I went to my nana's house and had lunch and I gave my mum her birthday presents.

The rest of the holiday, we stayed home and did our chores.

On my first day of school, I was happy to see my friends at school and we hang out at morning tea and lunch. On my second day of school, I made a new friend who is Loni's sister and her name is Teresa.

Blogging: Art

This is my art work. At art, we had to design our face like we have to take 10 photos of ourselves and send it to our art teacher, then we trace our face and then we choose our 7 photos. After we choose our 7 photos, we draw our 7 photos on our faces and then paint. I painted my face red because my favourite colour is red so I painted my face red. Then after I painted my face, I started painting the collar of my blouse and teeth white. Then I painted my eyes brown. I painted my hair and eyebrows black, then after I painted my hair and eyebrows, I painted my mouth light pink. Then I painted the background blue. I painted the tongan flag red, niuean flag yellow, white and red, nike white and blue, warriors blue, mate ma'a tonga, tongan flower and niuean flower purple. I also painted my earrings as well. This is my art work.

Blogging: High Ropes

For 2 days the yr 11's went to High Ropes at Mt Albert. On Wednesday, we had to arrive at school at 7:45am and wait in the auditorium till the bus arrive. When the bus arrived, 11PCu went to the bus. I sat next to Raewen in the bus. Then we arrived at Unitec, Mt Albert. We were put into groups. In my group I had Raewen, Paris, Sa'ane, Christy, April, Jasmine, Te Harangi, Mata and Fusi. Then we went to our instructors down the hill and across the river and we did some activities. Our instructor's name is Oni. My favourite part was the trust fall. It was fun.

On Thursday was the same routine in the same group, but our group was up the hill, while the others went down the hill and across the river. We had a different instructor. His name was Jay.  When I climbed up the pole, I felt like I was going to die because I felt my hands sweating and I thought I was going to fall. I nearly went to the top but then I needed to come down because I couldn't climb anymore, so I told the girls that I wanted to come down.

Blogging: Special Olympics and IEP Meeting

This month, Whare Manaki students went on a trip to Special Olympics at Mount Smart Stadium. When we got there we went to sit down on the chairs and put our school bags down. Maia, Raewen, Flora and I went to the changing rooms and got changed into our school shorts for our running and so we went back to our seats where our bags were and while we were waiting for Special Olympics to start Maia, Flora and I talk together and when it started I felt a little bit nervous.

Then it was time for the girls to run but first we did the 200m run and it was Raewen, Maia and Flora's turn to start running and then when it was my turn to run, I started running and I came 3rd place in the 200m run, We did the 100m run and I came 3rd place, then after that we did the 50m run and I came 2nd place. I was so proud of myself and my family were proud of me.

My IEP meeting was good but I need to work on my 6,7,8,9 and 12 timetables and also my Attendance this year. 

Chocolate Cookies: Food Tech Mrs Tuipulotu

Today Whare Manaaki students baked Chocolate Cookies. First we put our aprons on and then we washed our hands and I cooked with Raewen, then first we put 1 ½ cup of S.R.F, then ½ cup of sugar, then ½ tsp of salt.

After when we put salt in we put 3 tsp of cocoa powder, then 50 g of chocolate drops, then ½ cup of oil and 1 egg, then after that we mixed the ingredients and make 6 cookies each to 180 degrees and 15 mins.

Then after that we washed the dishes and put them away, then we waited for our Chocolate cookies to finish baking in the oven.

Blogging

Today at Maths with Mrs Singh I did an activity and what I learnt was to Add,Subtract, Multiple, Divide. This is the activity that I enjoyed doing today with Mrs Singh in B12. My goal this year is to learn all my timetables and dividing.

Special Olympics Basketball Blogging

Special Olympics Basketball

On Thursday, my class and I went on the school van to go to our Basketball game at Selwyn College, then we went into the ASB Stadium Kohimarama.

First we went to sit down on the chairs and then we went down the stairs and sat on the Basketball court to wait for the lady to say the announcement.

The first team we played are quite good in their defense and shooting. The points were 10-19.

The second team was very good at their shooting and their attacking. The points were 8-20.

The third team that we played were very good at their shooting, defense and attacking and the points were 11-16.

The last team that we played was fun and we won, the points were 10-6.

When the games were finished we went down to the court and sat down and waited for the awards in each court. We came 4th place and we played 4 games, it was a tough game and I had fun and enjoyed myself.

Tonal Value - Visual Arts 

I learnt a variety of drawing techniques: cross hatching, hatching, Accent lines, Tonal, Scumble and Smudge. 

Tonal Value is created by drawing more lines and by sketching how darker it is.

I enjoyed smudging the lines by doing the lines in the circle and then I smudge it with my finger, that's why I enjoyed smudging and that's what I enjoyed the most.

On Saturday my family and I went to my dad’s friends baby’s birthday party and we had fun there and when it was finished we went home and relaxed and watched a movie and it was my Grandad’s birthday and so I didn’t get a chance to give it to him but I am going to give the card to him tomorrow after the school.

On Sunday we did the housework and my mum, my baby brother Chad and I went to New World and did our shopping there and there stuff were expensive there and my mum said that we are not going back there again and then we came home and had lunch and just watched a movie with our family for dinner.
