Aboriginal Art
Today Mrs Jacobsen's litercy class have been doing Aboriginal Art. Aboriginal art comes from Australia. They use dots to make a picture.

In the Weekend
Yesterday me and my brother Andrew went on the trampoline outside and we were jumping and it was fun. We went inside and we drew a picture and we played with our toys. Then we went back outside. We played dress ups and I was the daughter and he was the dad and after that we played games in the lounge and we played a lego game.

Trees
Yesterday Mr Jacobsen brought the wire cutters and pliers we had to use the wire cutters and pliers to cut the wires. We had to cut 10 pieces of wire. Then we had to twist the pieces to make a tree it was hard to do the roots. When we were finished we put our name on the tape. After that we had to put our trees in the box.

Athletics day
On Friday it was Athletics day and we had to sit on the court in our lines at 11am. We had Mrs Jacobsen and we had to wear our house colours like Takitimu - yellow, Te Arawa - red, Matatua - green and Tainui - blue. We went to skipping first and we had to skip in the middle to do different skipping and we had to skip forward. After that we went to shotput and the shotput was heavy to throw. Then we went to high jump and I hit the bar. Next we went relay racing and we had to run fast. When the athletics were finished we went back to class.

Whakapapa Boards
First we researched our designs we have to do one for our Dad, one for our Mum and one for NZ. We have to do our cutlure and the middle and the left, the right is all kiwi patterns. After that we paint the patterns that we've drawn on our boards.

Being able to swim is Important
When you go swimming you learn how to swim from the swimming teacher and if you don’t swim you will have to use the flutter board so we don’t drown. If you don’t know how to swim you have to use a life jacket in a boat.
