Year 7's go to Rainbows End: 2015

 On Friday before week 6 finish the year 7's went to Rainbows end. When we got there we had to wait for the lady to put the band on and then we went in and while we were waiting we talk while were waiting. Then we had to put our arm up for the lady to check if we got bands on and first we went to the roller coaster and it was fun and when we went down we were screaming and my favorite part on the roller coaster is going upside down because I thought that I was gonna fall down and it stopped. Then we went to extreme Invader and I was siting between Rae wen and Matiu and I got scared. After that we went to the log and I was at the front and Rae wen's dad is in the middle and Rae wen was at the back and It was so fun and cool. Then we went to the gold rush and it was fun and we went down and it was cool. Then we went to the bumper cars and it was so fun and cool and I bumped into Rae wen, Matiu, Rae wens dad and Maurice. After that we went to the scorpion karts and It was so fun. Then we went to the Pirate ship and it was fun and scary. Then we went to the Fear fall we lined up and then we went on the fear fall and we went up slowly and then it took 1 minute and then we went down fast and when we got to the ground it stopped and then we got off and I helped Matiu take the belt off and Maurice took his belt off. Then we went to the Mansion Master and me and Raewen was the last one and we had to hang on to the handle beside us and we went down and then the snake was trying to eat us and me and Raewen was screaming and the other girls didn't and then when it was finished we got out and that was our last one.     I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE VIDEO.

On Saturday Story

On Saturday me and my baby brother Chad helped our Nana to put the decorations on the Christmas tree because she had to get the Christmas tree ready for Santa on Christmas day.

This Saturday my baby brother Chad has got a Christmas party at his school and he has to wear green or red clothes.  Also it starts at 5:00pm and finishes at 8:30pm.

Google Expedition: Writing

Yesterday we did google expedition with Mr Clark and Mrs Tele’a in the street and it was only just the year 7’s because the year 8’s is at tech.

We had to look in the cardboard and it was cool,  first we went to the cave and then the arrow is pointing to the person we had to turn around to find David Attenborough.

Then we went to the sky tower and it was so high and when you look down you will think that you are going to fall for real.

Then we went to the castle and it looks cool and then we went in the water and we saw then man jumping in the water and there were heaps of sharks.

After that we went outside and there were people walking around and then I saw the big water.

Then the year 8's did their's after morning tea because they were at tech and group 3 went first, then group 1 and group two went last to do the google expedition.

Then it was so fun and exciting.

Rainbows End: Blog post

Last week on Friday the year 7's went to Rainbows end and I was with Raewen, Mose (Raewen's dad), Matiu and Maurice and first we went to the roller coaster and it was fun and scary.

My favourite part was when we had to go upside down and I thought that I was gonna fall and we had to hold on tight to the handles and then we went up slow and then we went down fast and I started to get sick.

Then we went to extreme invader and I was between Raewen and Matiu and it was scary when you went up and it go's down and it was fun and scary.

After that we went to the log and I was in the front with Mose which is (Raewen's dad) and then Raewen was sitting at the back and we went up and then I was about to let go and then we went down and it was fun and exciting.

Then we went to the gold rush and it was fun. We went to bumper cars and I bumped into Raewen, Matiu, Maurice and Mose (Raewen's dad) it was so fun.

After that we went to Scorpion karts we went on it and then we started to race. After that we went to the fear fall and we went up slow and then we went down fast and I couldn't breath. 

Then it started to stop and we came out and Matiu and Maurice couldn't take the belt off and I helped Matiu to take the belt off and then Maurice took his belt off.  

It was fun, scary and exciting. 

Make a Cipher Wheel: Trinity, Raewen, Melaia, Moses and Aidan Maunganui

 This is what Maunganui did in literacy we had to make our own cipher wheel. We had to use 2 papers and scissors to cut the paper in rectangles and we had to tape the paper to make a cylinder. We had to put the letters down on the paper and we had to write our name down.

Building a Fale:

They feel happy when they build their fale and they build the fale in Auckland.

They feel tired of building their fale because they have been working hard to get their fale finished. So that they can rest from the sun or by working hard to get their fale finished. So that they can sit down in the shade from the sun.

Rhyming Poems: Trinity and Melaia

Hi my name is Trinity and I'm in Mrs Tele'a's literacy class and we had to do Rhyming poems and my buddy is Melaia and we worked together and we had to do our own poem

Coyote and Turtle

 This is what me and my buddy did in Reading we had to read the story about the Coyote and the Turtle. Me and Melaia worked together and we had to put Mexico map on slide 2.We had to answer the questions and some of them was hard to answer the questions and we looked in the book to find the answer.

Living in a Colourful World

 This is what me and my group did in literacy we had to read the book and learnt about how animals can also get colour blind and not only just people that gets colour blind as well. Me, Melaia and Raewen work together as a group.

Writing Test T4 15

I did something special with my group is Photo booth and Cookie face I had in my group is Mao, Tevita S, Maurice and Puawai  me and my group is in Team 1 A.

In round 1 we went to Brain bust with Miss Clark. Round 2 we did Photo booth in the street with Mrs Tele'a.

Round 3 we did Cookie face with Miss Flavelle. Then we went to round 4 to do Pea pipes with Miss Hockly and Miss Misela.

We had to use a straw to suck the pea in the straw and we had to put the pea in the bowl and we have to try and breath in for long so that we can win for our team. It was hard and I couldn’t breath so after that it was our last one for fun time.

After that we went running and we did 1 lap because it was almost lunch time and we run to the bin and back and we got changed in our school uniforms for lunch.

It was fun,exciting and hard.

Takapu Week 2

 In literacy my group and I did the Takapu presentation and me, Melaia and Raewen worked together and we had to answer the questions.

A Time Something went missing

When I was nine or ten years old my tooth came.The first thing I did was to put it in a piece of toilet paper and then put it under my pillow. In the morning I looked under my pillow and my tooth went missing and I had 1 and 2 dollars under my pillow. Then I went to my mum and dad and show them my money and then I put it in my wallet or piggy bank and hide it. So that Andrew doesn’t steal my money so that he doesn’t put my money in his wallet.

When I was 10 I lost my earing and I was looking in my room and it wasn’t there and I looked everywhere in the house.  

I couldn’t find it and it wasn’t there because Andrew was hurting me and he slap me face and then my earing came off and I said to Andrew that he is a girl smasher and he started crying and my mum came inside and she saw Andrew crying and she said to Andrew why is he crying and I said to her that he slap my face.

I hit him back and that he keep hitting me and then my earing came out and I tried to find it and my mum said good when boys hit me I have to hit them back and I said to Andrew that is what happens when you slap my face.

I didn’t find my earing and it was hard to find my earing.

I had to change my earings because I couldn’t find my earing before I change my earings I ask my mum if I can change my earings.

Making 10

This is what my group did in maths. We had to do + and - and we have to click on the link on slide 3 and we had to do timestables.

In the Holidays

In the holidays me and my Nana went to Glen Innes and we saw my brother, Papa, Nana Brown, Aunties and my cousins. I ran to my Papa and I gave him a cuddle and then we went to see my Nana Brown and we had my baby brother with us and his name is Chad and he was in his stroller. Then we went for a walk and I went to get Chad and then I saw Koula and her family and Chad was playing with Koula’s little brother and Chad was chasing after him. Then I went to get Chad to put him in his stroller so that he won’t go anywhere else. After when I put Chad in his stroller we went to the shop that is called check this out, Nana bought me a white fluffy jacket, after that we met up with my Nana Brown, Andrew, my cousins, Papa and Aunties and after that we went home. Once I arrived I played Star wars and Kung fu chaoz on Thursday in the morning till afternoon. On Friday I went home with Chad and Andrew. We had a good time in our holidays. It was fun in the holidays, and on Tuesday morning I slept in and I woke up and it was 9:00 am.

Skunks

I have learnt about Skunks of what they do to animals that attack them.
1. Skunks are black and white and they have a tail that is longer than its head.
2. They have big busty nose.
3. The skunks are striped skunk, spotted skunk, hooded skunk and hog nosed skunk.
4. Baby skunks are called kittens.
5. skunks give the enemies 3 warnings.
6. skunks hunt for food in the forest for insects, berries and mice.
7. WHO WOULD EAT SKUNKS.

Explanation SPEND, SHARE and SAVE

Introduction: Money is used all around the world.  It’s important to know how to spend, share and save it!  This is an explanation to help you make the right decisions with your money.  

Paragraph 1: Let’s begin with spending money.  Here are some things children my age could possibly spend money on. Clothes, Jewellery, Shoes, Movies, Toys, Make up, PS games, Treats, Fruit, Bed, Katy Perry posts.

Paragraph 2: Now we move into what would be worth saving your money for.  Here are some examples of what I think are worthy of saving money for.  Holiday or trip on a airport or travel everywhere.

Paragraph 3: Finally we come to explaining why people would share their money.  The first reason…

They should share their money because when someone does the work they can give their money to them.

Paragraph 4:  Another reason to share your money may be...

when someone needs money I can give my money to them and I can be fair.

Paragraph 5:  In spending, saving and sharing money it is important to set spending goals to guide yourself.  A goal helps you to wash and dry the dishes and put them away, fold the washing and put them away and Mowing the lawns by mowing them in the back and the front.

This is what I did in Inquiry class we have to be in our home class and every Friday from morning to afternoon and we had to do Charity and Mrs Moala said that we can name the title Charity or Inquiry Charity and we had to talk about what Charity is and we had to click on St Johns/Westpac Lifesaver Rescue helicopter/make a wish or NZ red cross.

Today for Zeal Zone, Team 5 began"Tinkering, Tools and Toys." Our class spent time brainstorming ways that we could make Pt. England a better place to be. I am in a group with Melaia, Raewen, Mahana and Ramonadel. Our group name is Cheetah Girls.

Our group decided that we are going to work together in a team. So far we have been planning that we could paint a chess board opposite Mrs Tele'a's class and paint it there and paint the snakes and ladder's where the Junior's space for the yr 1's and 2's. So that they can have fun.

We are very sorry that you are not allowed to fight. You were taken from Tonga because you are part German. This meant you had to leave your wife and children behind.

You have been in a cold place near Wellington. It is very different to Tonga. I hope you can get some warm clothes.  

I hope you will get to go back to Tonga soon. May it be a safe journey on the ship.

I hope you feel better soon and you miss your brother, sister and mum and dad and my Poppa was born in Tonga and his name is George.

Nesian Fusion Assembly
